TA Cube Proxy Servers

SETI Proxy Server
Set your client to seti.tacube.com:5517
RC5 Proxy Server
Set your client to tacube.com

TA Cube has proxy servers for both SETI and RC5. If you fetch and flush to our servers, you can track your individual stats! Pretty cool, huh? On our SETI server, you can find your stats in the "Clients" section, and for RC5 in the "By Host" section. In both cases, your listing can be named whatever you'd like, and multiple machines can be consolidated in to that listing.

Setting up your client to do this is really quite easy.

For SETI:

If you are running strictly the command line version, no add on utilities, append
-proxy seti.tacube.com:5517 at the end of the command when you fire up the client. If using SetiDriver, check the box that says "Proxy Server", and enter seti.tacube.com in the "Host" section and 5517 in the "Port" section. Be sure to click "Save Config". If you're using the GUI version, dump it and switch to command line.

If you are behind a firewall, or for any other reason are having problems with name resolution when trying to connect to the server, try substituting the IP address, 207.108.218.137 for the server host name. Port number would be the same.

For RC5:

Add or change the following entry in your dnetc.ini file:

[networking]
autofindkeyserver=no
keyserver=tacube.com

If are experiencing name resolution issues, you can use the IP address of the server. NOTE that this address is different then that of the SETI server. Entry would look like this:

[networking]
autofindkeyserver=no
keyserver=207.108.218.138

Be sure to restart the RC5 client after making the changes as it only reads the ini file when it is started.

To check your stats for either SETI or RC5, just click the server links at the top of this page. Happy cracking!
